About this job

Polyvalent Sheet Metal Worker, Two Shifts

Bring metal components to life in a full-time, on-site role in the industrial manufacturing sector, based in West Flanders. You’ll work with laser cutting, bending, and rolling equipment, starting on day shift before moving to a two-shift schedule.

A specialist manufacturing team

The employer supplies metal components and parts for industrial machinery, with a focus on producing high-quality work.

What you’ll do

  • Set up and operate machines for laser cutting, bending, and rolling, prepare programs, and make adjustments when needed.

  • Nest parts to make efficient use of sheet material, and receive incoming sheets while checking stock and system entries.

  • Check dimensions and quality against technical drawings, then finish parts by deburring and inspecting them.

  • Move sheets and finished pieces with a forklift, carry out basic preventive and first-line maintenance, and keep your work area and machines clean.

  • Look for efficient ways to work and help resolve issues as they arise.

You’ll begin on day shift, then move to an early or late shift: 6 a.m.–2 p.m. or 2–10 p.m.
